Jason Korpi missed a court date last month, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.
Starcasm reported that the Unexpected star was set for an arraignment on May 3rd, but failed to appear before the judge. It was related to his DUI arrest from February 26th.
There was an active warrant for Jason’s arrest for two weeks before a Notice of Cleared Default was posted on May 19th. It is unclear if the warrant was dropped because the 19-year-old contacted the court or if he was arrested. However, it is likely that we would have heard about the latter.
His arraignment has been rescheduled for June 28th. Hopefully he shows up this time!
The news comes after a drama-filled season on TLC with Kylen Smith, and fans have been begging her to dump Jason for months. Now, an alleged family friend is spilling even more disturbing claims about Jason.
Reddit user u/h974974 posted a compilation of texts they claimed were from a family friend close to Jason, who spilled some disturbing allegations about Jason.
“He has a camera in his room so when he goes away he can watch [Kylen] and if she leaves the room without telling him he would get p*ssed,” the insider alleged.
“She wasn’t allowed to breast feed like she wanted because he told her those are his boobs and no one else’s,” they also claimed.
This escalated to disturbing claims of physical abuse.
“He beat [the f*ck] out ofh er last month while the parents were away and he threw a party and sat the baby in front of the tv all night,” the insider claimed. “And they both passed out and left the baby there.”
They claimed that “[Kylen]’s parents never even met the baby yet,” adding, “[Jason] won’t allow her to see or talk to them. And he put his hands on Heidi before and won’t even let her hold the baby at all.”
Celebuzz cannot verify any of these claims, but fans on Reddit were disturbed.
“This is enough. Authorities need to be called and that child needs to be taken away. This is f*cking ridiculous, the whole world is watching and no one is doing shit about it,” one wrote.
They continued: “And what about TLC? Why hasn’t anyone from there acted on this? You can only imagine what kind of footage and proof of abuse they have. His Family and friends are all accomplices in his abuse and so is everyone else just sitting back watching and doing nothing. Including TLC.”
