FirstKey Homes is a property management firm that offers rental home properties. Founded in 1992. FirstKey Homes took over the management of more than 4,200 SFR homes formerly owned by Building and Land Technology (BLT) and previously managed by BLT Homes.
The homes were recently acquired by an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., the majority owner of FirstKey Holdings. The portfolio includes assets in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee. Cerberus is a global leader in alternative investing with approximately $60 billion in assets across complementary credit, private equity, and real estate platforms.
